We’re delighted to introduce Samantha, our dedicated wedding consultant at Highley, who has been with us for almost a year and a half now. With a background in hospitality and a genuine love for creating memorable experiences, Samantha found her calling in the wedding industry. Her enthusiasm for weddings shines through in every detail she meticulously plans, ensuring each couple’s special day at our venue is nothing less than extraordinary.
What hobbies or activities do you enjoy outside of work?
In my free time, some of my hobbies include; going to a see show in the West End and going on long hikes over the South Downs. 😊
If you weren’t a wedding consultant, what career would you be in?
The dream would be to be a performer, doing some sort of acting.
If you could have dinner with any celebrity, who would it be and why?
Most definitely Justin Bieber…because childhood crush!!
How long have you been with the company and what attracted you to this role?
I have been with the company for almost a year and a half. I have always loved the idea of working in weddings, and in my previous job, I was at a hotel, however working at an exclusive use wedding venue, makes it that extra bit special for the couples.
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
When I take the couple their drink after the ceremony and they are so happy and in their bubble, it is always such a lovely feeling. It’s also so nice receiving positive feedback emails post wedding.
What would be your go-to song to get the party started at a wedding reception?
‘I bet that you look good on the dancefloor’ by Arctic Monkeys.
